Internet Monster

Well I finally got cool and got this wonderful thing called MySpace. My life is now how I've always pictured it!
I have now fallen victim to the internet monsters MySpace. Anyways...what ever happened to the good old way of meeting people by walking up to them and introducing yourself to indulge in a friendly conversation with a new person. Now people sit behind computers with their false security and pretend that they have a lot of friends. What really gets on my nerves is when people think they have 400 friends because they they have that many on their "friend" list. Sorry to burst your bubble but just because you add every person that you've came in contact with over the past year or more to your friends list does not mean they are actually your friend. In all actuality they probably don't even know your name and more than likely couldn't pick you out of a crowd. What bothers me the most is when people come over and ask, "Can I use your computer quick?" Of course I let them use it and what do they do.....straight to MySpace! What on Earth?!?! You can't wait another 5 minutes to walk to your place and check your precious MySpace account?!?!? It's just ridiculous. Whatever floats your boat I guess....if you want to be anti-social and sit behind your computer away from the real world.....be my guest, but I'm gonna go out and do things the good old fashion way!
